Towards a Universal Concept of God

by Nick Andrea

Characteristics I have observed:

  1. Transpersonal: It is larger than each of us, while including each of us. It moves also in the birds, the trees, and in inanimate objects.
  2. Benevolent: It moves for the benefit of all things in the universe. It is non-dual in Its blessing.
  3. Beyond the Lower Five Senses: Its movements cannot be apprehended by the lower five senses, but by a sixth, inner sense which I posit operates beyond the limits of time and space of the material (apparent) world. By that measure, it seems like “magic” to an intellect limited by time and space, but I suggest it is actually quite scientific when one is willing to consider that one’s own self, sixth sense included, is a spiritual being.

My goal has always been and continues to be the liberation of minds, my own and what influence I may have on others, to perceive the extraordinary beauty all around us. To this end, I write, play music, and design websites. Don't hesitate to contact me for more information about any of these activities. :)
