“We should expect the best, and so live that the best may become a part of our experience.” –The Science of Mind, pg. 300
Lately this has increasingly become my mantra. At once I realized that at the end of this, when all is said and done, there is a glory so profound, so sublime as to wash away all the sorrows we ever experience in life. I am sure this is what the saints call “Heaven,” and with such a future guaranteed how can we ever get worked up about the petty things in life?
Of course, this is often easier said than done, but if we remember the quote above, “We should expect the best, and so live that the best may become a part of our experience.” and try our best to live by it maybe our daily lives will become a little more like that light at the end of the tunnel. 🙂
